The Right People

Once you have identified a potential partner and they have agreed, you will also need to consider the individuals who should be involved. Who from your organisations would be the most suitable?

Do you want the partnership to be between the CEOs? 

Think back to your SMART goal and how much free time the CEOs might have to dedicate to this project. Will they be able to meet often enough to complete the milestones in time?

Other organisational representatives to consider:

• Someone who acts on behalf of the CEO
• A project manager in a relevant department
• An expert in the field
• An experienced partnership manager

For instance, the most suitable representative to lead a project about shipping and deliveries might be the head of supply chain for each partner.
